The Wicklow Way through Tinahely

The Wicklow Way passes through Tinahely village on Stages 6 and 7 of the route. The trail enters from the north via Mangan's Lane and exits south towards Shillelagh and Clonegal. For walkers, Tinahely is the essential overnight stop for the southern section — Moyne, the official stage endpoint on some maps, has no food, no accommodation and no services. Most walkers extend their day to Tinahely or take a short transfer.

The village has three pubs, several cafés, the Courthouse Arts Centre, and Madeline's Accommodation on the Square. Free parking is available at the Fair Green.
