How the day unfolds
- Out of Knockree up the Glencree valley. Watch for the ruins of the old Glencree Reconciliation Centre.
- Across the Featherbeds — the highest stretch of the Way at 525 m. Open blanket bog; exposed in bad weather.
- Last 360° Wicklow view at Tibradden summit (467 m) — Dublin Bay, Howth Head, the Mourne Mountains on a clear day.
- Through Cruagh and Tibradden forests — managed Coillte woodland.
- Finish at the Wicklow Way terminus at Marlay Park, Rathfarnham. Walk to the Marlay Grange pub for the ceremonial final pint. Taxi or bus into Dublin city from here.
