The Devil's Punchbowl near Powerscourt and Glencree is a moderate-to-strenuous 8–10 km mountain walk through forestry and upland terrain leading to a steep-sided corrie lake. The Devil's Punchbowl corrie was carved by glacial activity during the last Ice Age — the name comes from the bowl-shaped corrie surrounding the mountain lake. Allow 3–5 hours.
