Croghan Mountain (Croghan Kinsella) sits on the Wicklow–Wexford border in the southeast of the county, near Arklow, Aughrim and Coolgreany. It's a strenuous 8–10 km upland walk climbing onto open mountain terrain, with wide views over the surrounding hills and coastline, blanket bog and heather, and rugged scenery away from the busier Wicklow trails. Allow 3–5 hours.

Start from roadside access points on the Wicklow–Wexford border near Aughrim or Coolgreany. The Croghan Mountain Walk is approx. 8–10 km — a strenuous upland walk climbing onto open mountain terrain before reaching the summit ridge. Allow 3–5 hours. Rough upland paths, boggy ground and exposed mountain sections.
