Hidden Valley Holiday Park
A 100-acre family-run holiday park on the Avonmore River, set deep in the Wicklow valley. Camping, glamping, fishing, paintball, kayaking — one of Ireland's original outdoor-adventure destinations, running since 1977.
Activities
Lake trout fishing (stocked daily), paddle boats, kayaking on the Avonmore, archery, a 1.5 km cross-country paintball arena, woodland trails, and one of the best-kept children's playgrounds in the county. The campsite itself sprawls along the river bank with mature trees, full service pitches and glamping pods.
Stay overnight
Camping pitches, motorhome hookups, family glamping pods, fishing cabins. On-site shop, games room, and the legendary Dam Bar & Restaurant. The park runs from April to September.
Good to know
Day-pass entry for non-campers (check website for current price) gives full access to paddle boats and the lake. A brilliant rainy-day option — most activities are covered or forest-sheltered.
