Clara Lara Funpark
Ireland's original outdoor fun park — 100 acres of rivers, lakes, rope bridges, a kamikaze water slide and rowing boats. A rite of passage for generations of Wicklow kids. Opens Easter to August every year.
Activities
The famous Aqua Shuttle, Aqua Slide and Kamikaze water slides into the lake. Rowing boats, paddle boats, bumper boats, fishing, crazy golf, a junior driving school, a giant trampoline, rope bridges over forest streams, and an aqua park. Picnic areas, BBQ pits, tables and shelters dotted through the woods.
Practical
One day ticket gives full access to everything. Bring towels, changes of clothes, and a cooler for BBQ — you cook your own on the park's grills. Life jackets provided. Ages 4+ get the most out of it.
Hours
Open daily 10:30am–6pm, from Easter weekend to the end of August. Closed the rest of the year. Book online in peak summer — it does sell out.
