National Sealife Centre, Bray
Ireland's largest aquarium on Bray seafront. Home to sharks, rays, seahorses, jellyfish and over 100 other species in 30+ displays — all housed in a purpose-built centre beside the Irish Sea.
What to see
The Shipwreck exhibit, the Shark Tank, the Tropical Ocean zone, and the rescue-rehab centre (home to seals recovering from injuries). Behind-the-scenes tours and shark feeding sessions run on weekends. Designed for all ages, though especially hands-on for kids under 12.
Admission & hours
Adult around €14, child €11, under-3s free. Family tickets available. Open 10am–5pm (varies by season). Booking advised in school holidays.
Good to combine
Sits directly on Bray seafront — pair with the Bray to Greystones cliff walk, ice cream at Teddy's, and a DART back to Dublin. A perfect weather-proof day out.
